How to become a chartered gas engineer? Am I having the right stuff for my professional review report? What questions will the assessors ask me during the interview?
These are the questions in many gas engineers mind during their preparation for IGEM chartership. The Professional Development Seminar aims to introduce route to professionalism and tips and tricks for gas engineers in preparing for their IGEM professional assessment.
The seminar will be delivered in the form of experience sharing and question and answer session by professional engineers who are familiarized with professional assessments for IGEM. This seminar will introduce young members to:
- Routes to IGEM chartered engineer membership
- Writing of the professional review report
- Preparation for the professional review interview
Speakers:
Ir. Kenneth Lun, Director of KL Consulting Engineers Limited. Ir. Lun is a Fellow of Institution of Gas Engineers and Managers and the chairman of Far East District Section Membership Taskforce. He has more than 25 years of experience across a wide spectrum of gas engineering and has been an assessor for the IGEM since 1998.
Ir. Albert Leung, Engineering System Manager, The Hong Kong & China Gas Co. Ltd. Ir. Leung is the Immediate Past Chairman of HKIE Gas Division. He has 24 years of experience across a wide spectrum of gas engineering and has been an assessor for the IGEM since 2003.
